I won't be surprised if...Excellent first entry! I won't be surprised if museums like the Met - and other "known" museums at that - have illegal artifacts in their collection. Think about it: how many museums in the world investigate if the source of their art (whether purchased lately or as far back as a 100 years ago) is not looted/stolen artifacts? If there are, I think the number of these museums would be few.
